ABBY IN THE NEWS

Hi Everybody,
Sorry I haven't Posted anything for a while.  I have been busy catching up on Reading 'TRUE SPIRIT' (Jessica Watson's Book), and also Lots of Other Articles and Stories about all of these Amazing Young Sailors.  I'm also putting together a Wall map with all the Voyages marked on it.  To date, I have really only marked in Them in with Pencil, but have started to Mark Them in a more Professional Manner.  I also intend to place little Sticky Note Tags at various points of the Voyages.  When I have finished it, I'll Post A Photo of it on here.


It may seem to be that I am Writing to myself, but even though I have No Official FOLLOWERS as at the time I Posted This Entry, I am sure that there have been numerous people View My BLOG.


Anyway, I'd like to share a little Message that I Sent to ABBY

Abby, I've just been reading your Story in The OPRAH Magazine. I'm only about half way through it, and I can tell you, that I am honestly gaining more respect and support for you with Every Paragraph that I read. Please don't misunderstand: I have Always felt more support, and had more respect for you and what you have attempted, and what you have since achieved, than you could probably ever imagine. However, reading this Story, which more or less covers a summarised portion of your Timeline, and with it being all in one story, makes me even More Intrigued and about your Adventurous Life and Dreams ( ... ??? .. Does THAT make any sense to you ... ? ... lol ... ).
Anyway, every part that I read that explained something you said or you were doing, really made me fill up. Then, as it continued on into your Voyage, I really started to get tears in my eyes, and I couldn't see clearly out of my tear filled eyes to be able to finish reading it in one attempt.
Like I said in a previous Message some time back, and on my BLOGGER which I Set Up Dedicated to You (& Zac), and Laura ..... When I heard the News about You And WILD EYES Being In Trouble, it was as if it was My Own Sister out there.

A Quick Hello :)

Hi Everyone,

I'm not much of a Writer on here yet.  Sorry about that.  I've been busy trying to catch up reading all the Fantastic Blogs of Jessica Watson, Abby Sunderland and Laura Dekker.  I am enjoying them all very much, and would really like to extend my Support and Congratulations to them all.  I would like to also Congratulate Jessica on the Success of Her Australian Tour and her USA Tour; and Congratulate Abby on her Success in the Lake Huron Yacht Races, and Congratulate The Skippers as well.  In addition, I would like to wish Laura all the best on her Voyage.

I don't mean to neglect recognition of the Boys, but it was Jessica who really brought out my Interest in Solo Circumnavigation.  I have always supported all those who partook in such, prior to Jessica, but I never reall actually FOLLOWED Them.  Thanks Jessica ... and Thanks to Abby as well who extended my interest and to Laura for encouraging me to keep following Young Achievers like them all.
